Meet The Team

David S. Baker, JD CEO and Founder

David is a licensed attorney and graduate of the University of Akron, School of Law. He received his undergraduate degree from Bob Jones University in South Carolina. David’s fundraising consulting practice includes conducting feasibility studies, coaching development directors and their staff, and providing direction for annual, capital, endowment and planned giving campaigns. Recent clients have included Camp Echoing Hills & Echoing Hills Village, St. Louis County Library Foundation, Urban Concern and the Harambee Community Center and Christian School.

The strength of David’s practice is his experience advising high net-worth individuals and families on how best to accomplish their charitable objectives.

Previously, David served as a Planned Giving Officer at the Columbus Foundation, the seventh largest community foundation in the country. He has assisted with the start-up of a rural, regional community foundation as its Director of Advancement and has also served as the Assistant Director of Development for Worthington Christian Schools. His professional career has also included employment with the global legal publisher LEXIS-NEXIS as well as a Dayton, Ohio law firm. David currently serves on the Legacy Foundation board (affiliated with Dayton Christian Schools) and serves on the launch team for the Columbus Stewardship Foundation an Affiliate of the National Christian Foundation.

Brent Baisden, JD Consulting Attorney

Brent is an Ohio licensed attorney and graduate of the Capital University Law School. He received his undergraduate degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in the field of business administration. Brent’s practice focuses on all aspects of business and nonprofit formation, family law, and estate and charitable planning.

Brent is a member of the American Bar Association, Ohio Bar Association, Columbus Bar Association, and the Westerville Bar Association. Brent served in the United States Air Force and currently is a member of the Ohio Air National Guard. With a total of fourteen years of service, Brent continues to serve his country as a member of the Judge Advocate General’s Corps.

David L. Baker, MBA Senior Consultant

David is the resident non-profit adminsitration expert. With fifteen years of ministry management experience with Great Commission Association of Churches and previously with Great Commission Ministries, David brings first-hand experience to clients needing both operations and development strategy and support. David has been a driving force in marketing and communications, human resources, development direct mail campaigns and other annual fund strategies.

David, also the Principal of Baker Realty Group, is also a licensed realtor and is available to assist or to consult with clients regarding gifts of commercial and residential real estate. David holds a Bachelor of Science and a Masters in Business Administration both from Texas A&M.
